October 21, 2008 St. Boniface Fund to Help Train Radiologists - $300,000 Endowment
October 21, 2008 - The former head of radiology at St. Boniface General Hospital Tuesday donated $150,000, which was matched by the Manitoba X-Ray Clinic Medical Corp. to create the $300,000 Dr. George B. and Mary Watkins Endowment Fund. Click here for full story.

The Canada Revenue Agency has always offered an abundance of online information for donors. The CRA has now introduced a free speaker’s kit Canadians may order!
The speaker kit includes a variety of materials which clearly outline what Canadians can do to donate wisely.

September 22, 2008 $3.5-M Estate Gift will Nurture Classical Music for Future Generations
German-born Egon Baumann, a car salesman with a lifelong passion for symphonic and operatic music, died in February at age 95 and left roughly $3.5 million to establish a foundation for musical arts in Victoria. for full story click here.
September 19, 2008 Toronto Grace Health Centre Foundation Receives Largest Donation in its History
TORONTO, Sept. 11 - Toronto Grace Health Centre Foundation received its largest donation in the over 100 year history of The Salvation Army Toronto Grace Health Centre site. The $1.9 million donation will have a profound impact on the Toronto Grace Health Centre's 119 bed facility and the medically complex patients it serves.
