April 26, 2010 SAIT Polytechnic receives $15 million donation.
History was made when SAIT Polytechnic announced the largest personal philanthropic donation ever given to a community college or polytechnic institution in Canada. John and Cheryl Aldred presented SAIT with a $15 million gift for its Promising Futures™ Campaign in support of the Trades and Technology Complex currently under construction.

March 30, 2010 TD donates $150,000 to plant trees in Quebec
TD teamed up with the Association forestière Québec métropolitain (AFQM) to provide $150,000 in funding which will be used to organize tree planting events in the Greater Quebec City and Chaudière-Appalaches regions starting this spring.
